(ABM-Crypto) De Zwitserse post lanceert op 25 november een crypto-postzegel. Dit maakte het postbedrijf zelf bekend.
De cryptozegel bestaat uit 2 delen. Allereerst een fysieke postzegel van 8,90 Zwitserse frank en daarnaast een gerelateerde digitale uiting. In totaal zijn er 13 plaatjes beschikbaar, aldus het postbedrijf.
De digitale zegels worden opgeslagen in een blockchain en kunnen worden verzameld, maar ook geruild en verhandeld.
De Zwitserse post denkt met deze nieuwe postzegel een brug te slaan tussen de fysieke en digitale wereld in filatelie.
Er worden 175.000 exemplaren uitgegeven.
Elk jaar geeft het postbedrijf circa 50 nieuwe postzegels uit.
