(ABM-Crypto) Trade Republic zal spoedig ook actief worden in Nederland. Dit maakte de Duitse neobroker op zijn website bekend en werd woensdag ondersteund door een persbericht.

“Commissievrij beleggen in aandelen en ETF’s”, kopt de broker. Dit is mogelijk, zo laat Trade Republic weten, doordat het “net als veel andere brokers, vergoedingen ontvangt van handelspartners”.

Volgens Trade Republic bedient het in Europa inmiddels meer dan 1 miljoen klanten. Daarmee is het één van de grootste brokers in Europa. 

Het huidige aanbod van Trade Republic omvat aandelen, indexfondsen, cryptomunten en derivaten. De broker rekent geen commissie, maar slechts een vast bedrag van één euro per transactie.

Nederlandse beleggers kunnen zich momenteel inschrijven op een wachtlijst, net als Italiaanse beleggers. Trade Republic is naast in thuisland Duitsland ook al actief in Oostenrijk en Frankrijk en lanceerde deze week in Spanje.

Trade Republic is in 2015 opzicht en wordt door enkele bekende tech-investeerder gesteund, waaronder Sequoia en TCV. Die staken afgelopen mei nog 900 miljoen dollar in de broker.

Trade Republic staat onder toezicht van de Duitse Bundesbank en BaFin.
